About House of Deliverance
Prior to 2007, the Lord gave Pastor Derrick Chambers and co-Pastor Terrilyn
Chambers the “vision of a church for deliverance”. Being obedient to God and his word, they boldly stepped out on faith and on March 17, 2007 they began, their journey for God It was then that the “House of Deliverance” was born.
The first service was held at the “Essex House Hotel” in Lancaster, California
with one person other than themselves and their two sons. As the congregation slowly grew, they continued to hold Sunday worship service there until August 12, 2007.
On August 19, 2007, House of Deliverance moved to another location, The Desert Inn in Lancaster, California and remained there until July 6, 2007. On July 13, 2008, House of Deliverance relocated to our current location, 38450 27th St. E., Palmdale, CA.
Through the leadership and guidance of Pastors Chambers, we have been blessed and honored to have launched the following Ministries: Children’s Ministry, Women’s Ministries, Convalescent Ministry, Youth / Young Adult Ministry, Choir, Pastor’s Aide, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Prayer Telephone Line, Missions, Ushers, Shut-in Ministry, Blanket Ministry, Card Ministry, Bereavement Ministry, and Food Bank Ministry.
Our goal is to remain obedient to the scriptures in seeking the lost and
encouraging and strengthening ethnic diversity among all of God’s people. We believe that no child, no adult, no family, or ethnicity should be “left behind” for we are all God’s children.
